02. Basic SEO (search engine optimization, aka getting found on Google) Overview
None of this makes sense without understanding the basics of SEO. So we’ll start with a general overview (it will not be as extensive as my SEO School course, because that’s 10 modules long). But you’ll get the 30,000-foot overview so that the rest of the masterclass will be clear as well as how blogging helps improve visibility online for both brick-and-mortar and online health and wellness biz owners. You’ll also learn what Google and your ideal client actually care about (and what to do with that info).
03. Content creation ideas and how to choose what to write about
If you write about things that people aren’t Googling, you’re wasting your time if being found on Google is your goal. I said it. I’ll teach you how to choose topics that your ideal client is searching for because what you think they’re searching for is typically not what they’re searching for. You’ll also learn how to combine your ideal clients’ searches with what Google actually needs more supply (aka blog posts) for. If you write about something that already has 1,000,000 results, you’re not making the most of your energy and you’ll likely get lost in the depths of Google.
04. Formatting your content — everything you need to know
We’ll go over what to include, how to include it, and the overall layout of content. Bolded text, italicized text, headings, paragraphs, what to use where, how to write out lists, should you even include lists? And videos? Photos? Blog cover photos? We’ll cover it all from the actual structure of the content, how long the content needs to be, how to maximize engagement, and more. We’ll also dive into AI & ChatGPT and how you can use it, how to not use it, and how to beat AI generated content.
05. How to capitalize on the traffic you get
So you get all of this traffic and now what? We’ll go over how to integrate your email marketing system so that you can turn your traffic into subscribers (or at least have the chance to). I’ll also touch on some online biz principles/tactics for paid products and your blogs.
06. Expectation management for success and how to measure success
If you don’t know me, one of the most important things to know is that I’m going to give it to you straight. This isn’t an overnight success type of thing. I’ll teach you everything you need to know about timelines and what to expect, normal things you’ll see, as well as how to know when you’re doing good stuff and when to change your blogs if they aren’t performing well.
07. The set-up of the tech you need
There are two pieces of tech you need, we’ll go over how to set up each one in the masterclass. I’m including this because I know you need it for success (and we need to make sure Google is actually seeing your website— ps.. did you know that’s not automatic?), so I’ll spend the time to walk you through the setup process. We need this to ensure that Google is actually seeing you, to measure success, to read stats, and to complete keyword research. PS: one of the software recs I have costs $27ish per year. You don’t “need” it, but I would highly recommend it and a large portion of the masterclass will go into how to use this software.
08. Publishing guidelines — How often will you need to create and publish content?
I know one of the big sticking points for people is how often they need to create. We’ll dive into best practices regarding how often to publish blogs for maximal effectiveness as well as how to make it work for you.
09. Sharing and repurposing content
I’ll be covering how to share your blog content effectively and what platforms to share your content on (hint: this is a very important part of this process) as well as what repurposing blog content looks like and how to use your blogs on other platforms (Instagram included).

2. I will recommend and teach you about my favorite keyword research software that is $27ish/year. You can choose to go on without it, but I will strongly suggest you make it a part of your tech stack (or pay monthly and cancel if needed).
