Episode 72: My Tips for Obtaining Images to Use Inside Your Blog Posts

This episode dives into how you can get images for your blogs that you're actually allowed to use.

The amount of times I see random images just inserted into blogs is alarming but I get it. What else do you use??? Not all images are open source and legal to toss into your blog.

Some places where you can get images and use them inside your content:

  • unsplash.com

  • canva (their legal agreement is very long, but typically their images are fine to use if you pay for the program)

  • pexels.com

Or...

  • you can pay for stock images on your website platform (Squarespace makes this easy for both free and paid options)

  • be a part of something like @pelvicguru1's @pelvicguru_official, where she give access to her illustrations with membership (there are more requirements as well, so obviously follow them)

  • draw things yourself

  • hire an artist to draw

Or my personal favorite, order models (the knee, the pelvis, etc.) and make your own pictures and videos of movement/labeled diagrams, etc.
