  • A website audit is used to plan out the changes that you need to make. There is a method for doing it to make sure that you cross all of your t’s and dot all of your i’s, as well as a way to make sure that you are completing all of the steps.

    A website refresh is the design and change piece. The actual EDITING that you do once you have audited the site.

    You can choose to do these at the same time, but I typically suggest going page by page, noting the changes that need to be made, and then spending a different block of time actually making the changes.

    This mini-course will give you the audit plan, not the design plan. We’ll go over some design principles, but at the end of this, the goal is to have a plan to execute your audit, not to complete your audit AND your refresh.

  • The only coaching you will get during this mini-course will be what’s provided in the course modules. Questions on implementation and on the content itself will be handled on a case-by-case basis, but the modules are designed and written to be self-explanatory.

    I will not be in the back end of your website editing or providing coaching around your specific services, copy, etc.

  • The mini-course is much more comprehensive in nature with links to specific content posts, more education, and more information around design and copy principles.

    The module-based learning style also allows you to stay on track and actually complete the tasks that are sent to you.

  • What I cover in this mini-course is covered in SEO School. I’ve provided a discount code to you for the mini-course inside the SEO School portal should you want to jump in the mini-course as well.

  • This mini course is not for someone who wants the audit and refresh to be done for them.

  • I’d set aside one hour each day to complete the mini-course (one hour for each module). That should be more than enough time to execute the audit and planning. If you are making the edits to your website in real time, this is person-to-person dependent and will require more time.

  • For sure. Here’s the thing: the audit is great if it is done BY you, especially if your business has changed, if you’ve added services etc. If you need help with execution of new design, adding copy, adding images, etc… then you can hire me to help you outside of the mini-course.
